About Robert D. White:
As the founder of Dr. Robert D. White & Associates, Robert has more than 15 years of direct human resource management experience. His professional portfolio includes executive-level HR experience for three Fortune 500 companies in the retail and hospitality industries.
His multifaceted leadership experience includes process improvement, personnel direction-labor relations, recruiting, training, benefits and compensation, and management. Throughout his career, Robert has spearheaded the development and implementation of many company-wide HR initiatives, from 5-year succession plans, mass hiring campaigns and employee engagement assessments, to name a few.
Robert’s journey began during the latter part of his adolescence when he developed a profound interest in understanding human behaviors. Asking himself questions such as, Why do people react differently under identical situations? And why is there such a significant disparity in what constitutes success and happiness among people? This inquisitiveness caused him to gravitate to many behavioral psychologists, such as Abraham Maslow, Carl Jung, and Ivan Pavlov, to name a few.
While his passion has always resided within human services, his desire to develop an innovative modern-day business model supportive of both employer and employee caused him to pursue higher education in behavioral and psychological sciences. Robert holds a Doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University. He’s also earned a dual MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling, an MBA in HR Management, and a Bachelor’s in HR Management. Robert is also licensed in Nevada as a Clinical Professional Counselor. In addition, his passion and commitment to organizational development and self-reliance led him to author multiple business essays and articles, conduct peer-reviewed engagement research, host speaking engagements on self-reliance, and publish a spirituality in a business book.
